Our organic and French mugicha is a delicious and healthy drink, ideal for keeping you hydrated all day long in a healthy way.

Mugicha is a drink originating from Japan made from roasted barley . 🌾 It is the "Japanese health" drink par excellence, which also symbolizes for Maison Aimi their healthy lifestyle. Without caffeine or theine, this drink is rich in minerals and benefits for the body and mind.

It is a drink that can be drunk both cold and hot . And the crushed (ground) side of our mugicha allows an infusion with hot water or cold water directly.

Maison Aimi's mugicha is made from barley from French organic farming 🇫🇷 . The barley comes from the South-West of France, it is then roasted in an artisanal way by our partner and then crushed by us.

Our mugicha comes in different packaging: aluminum can , loose mugicha in a paper bag and Maison Aimi subscription to receive your favorite drink regularly!

Mugicha is very simple to prepare!
It is sold in bulk, so it must be infused using an infuser such as our reusable tea bags, a tea ball, etc.

- HOT BREW (hot infusion) -

Put a teaspoon of mugicha in a cup and pour in boiling water. Let it infuse: it's ready! We recommend the quantity of one teaspoon per cup and an infusion of 5 minutes for a light infusion and 10 minutes for a "coffee" type infusion.

- COLD BREW (cold brew) -

It is also possible to infuse the barley infusion cold. To do this, we advise you to infuse the amount of a tablespoon (in a reusable tea bag or tea ball) in a carafe of one liter of cold water: wait at least twenty minutes of infusion and more depending on your tastes! Store in the refrigerator.

And to make your drink more indulgent, you can twist it with agave syrup, honey and/or plant-based milk of your choice to create a mugicha latte.

The benefits of mugicha are numerous: caffeine-free, theine-free, regulates blood sugar levels, full of minerals and antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, helps with digestion and relaxation.

A gourmet variation of tea and coffee as well as classic infusions without sugar or caffeine: it is therefore completely suitable for children, pregnant people and the elderly.

The barley in our mugicha comes entirely from French organic farming (Organic Agriculture label). The farmers we work with are based in the southwest of France.

It is roasted in the Tarn, near the crops.

The crushing of our French mugicha is finally carried out in our workshop in Yvelines, before it is packaged.
